We went to visit the Sutherland crew for Curry's 6th birthday party on December 12th. I had not been to Springfield in over a year, and Brannon had not been in almost 5 years! They are in Tupelo or Oxford so often that we really don't have to travel to see them. But, needless to say, it was time for us to go see them! We were all so excited about the trip, and Anna Grant was counting down the days. However, a few days before we were supposed to leave, Anna Grant was sick with what we thought was only strep throat. She was extremely sick and was even throwing up. We postponed our trip by a day to make sure everyone was well! We left on Friday to head that way! However, after we got in the car, I was not feeling well at all! I was terribly nauseous! We made it past Little Rock, and I got SICK on the side of the road! I continued to be sick, and we soon realized that Anna Grant had the stomach virus along with strep throat, and now I had gotten it from her. While I was quarantined to the upstairs, the rest of the family had a great time in Springfield! It even snowed a little while we were there!
