First Sleep-Over

Anna Grant had her first sleep-over at Liz's house! About half way through the night, I started thinking that I had lost my mind letting my 4 year old spend the night away from home because she "is only 4!" But she had a blast with the Williams family and of course they took such good care of her (except for letting her wear a Mississippi State Cheerleading Uniform)! Liz and Anna Grant are such sweet friends, and she loved spending the night with her! Debbie was so sweet to email me pictures of their night.
Her daddy is not so proud of this picture!
They played a lot of dress-up!
And then it was time for bed. I think they finally fell asleep about 9:30. They were just too excited to sleep!

I'm A Little Indian

Last Thursday, we went to Anna Grant's Thanksgiving program at school. This year she was an Indian and sang 3 songs: "I'm a Little Indian," "My Mama's Thanksgiving Dinner," and "A Thankful Heart." It is always such a sweet time, and we enjoyed watching her perform! Caroline got to come this year, as well as Honey, Papa and GJo!

The Things She Loves

I took these pictures while Caroline was still trying to "wake up" from her nap. She LOVES her three lovies and paci! Since these pictures were taken, we unintentionally took her paci away. A couple of weeks ago, we couldn't find a single paci in the house, so we told her they were gone-gone! We gave it a trial run, and she's done pretty well! We're now going on two weeks without a paci!
I love these pictures because it shows what she does with the tag on her lovies. She rubs it all over her face and then on her eyes! So sweet!
She has named all three of her lovies.
This is "Woof Woof"
"Fower"
and "Oink."

Hot Chocolate+Pottery Barn Chairs= ONE BIG MESS

We have not had cold weather hardly at all this fall. But one night, it was actually chilly outside, and Anna Grant was dying to make hot chocolate! I let the girls help make it, which was the first mistake of the night! Anna Grant did fine stirring hers up and adding marshmallows. Caroline, on the other hand, wanted to dunk the marshmallows into the hot chocolate with her entire fist!
Making memories!
The second mistake of the night was letting them use my Vietri mugs... not really sure what I was thinking! And lastly, I let them sit in front of the fireplace in their precious pottery barn chairs! It made for a cute picture, but then Caroline dumped her entire cup all over the chair, rug and floor! Of course she did.... she's not even TWO! Thankfully, the hot chocolate washed right out of the chair, and I learned a valuable lesson!

Walt's 2nd Birthday

A couple of weeks ago we went to the Grove to celebrate Walt Bryson's 2nd birthday. Walt's mommy and I were college roommates. He had an "Ole Miss" birthday party, and my girls loved getting to go to the Grove before the football game! Sadly, I don't have a picture of the birthday boy!
Walt had the most delicious cookies and cake at his party! Just check out Caroline's face!

And why do I let her have yogurt?

Halloween

Trick or Treating was so much fun this year! Our sweet friends, the Ramels, always host a Halloween party before we go trick or treating. They did a hay ride for us, and the kids had a blast! Anna Grant loved going door to door to get candy! And it's amazing how quickly the second child picks up on things like trick or treating! She knew exactly what to do and was so proud when she got candy in her pumpkin! I think Anna Grant was 3 before she figured out Halloween!

Orchard Fall Fest

Brannon took Anna Grant to the Orchard Fall Fest on Sunday afternoon. I stayed home with Caroline so she could get a good nap before Tripp's birthday that afternoon and trick or treating that night!
AG loves the bounce houses!

Parties at School

Both Anna Grant and Caroline had Fall parties at school last week. Anna Grant's class got to wear costumes and have a party, and Caroline's class had a book exchange.

Carving Pumpkins

We carved a pumpkin after the FUMC Trunk or Treat. Anna Grant wanted nothing to do with cleaning out the insides, and Caroline wanted to eat it! She keep saying yum! They are alike in so many ways but are so different at the same time!

Daddy does a great job carving our jack-o-lantern!

FUMC Trunk or Treat

Last Wednesday, we went to Anna Grant and Caroline's school for their annual trunk or treat. This was our first year to go, and we had the best time! We were so glad that Daddy got to meet us there after work!
