We have not had cold weather hardly at all this fall. But one night, it was actually chilly outside, and Anna Grant was dying to make hot chocolate! I let the girls help make it, which was the first mistake of the night! Anna Grant did fine stirring hers up and adding marshmallows. Caroline, on the other hand, wanted to dunk the marshmallows into the hot chocolate with her entire fist!

The second mistake of the night was letting them use my Vietri mugs... not really sure what I was thinking! And lastly, I let them sit in front of the fireplace in their precious pottery barn chairs! It made for a cute picture, but then Caroline dumped her entire cup all over the chair, rug and floor! Of course she did.... she's not even TWO! Thankfully, the hot chocolate washed right out of the chair, and I learned a valuable lesson!
