Chicago

Brannon and I just got back from a WONDERFUL trip to Chicago!  We had such a fun and relaxing trip and definitely enjoyed every minute of it!  Brannon had a few meetings to go to but we played some, too!  We did a lot eating, walking, shopping and sight seeing!  We stayed out way too late, slept in many mornings and I even went to the spa!  It was a much needed vacation!  I do have pictures of the Cubs game that we went to on Thursday but our camera battery died while we were there!  We had to buy a $15 disposable camera!  So I will have to get the pictures developed!  Do they even still develop disposable camera pictures?  Thanks to my mom and Gray who kept the girls while we were gone!  It is not an easy job, and I appreciate their help so much!  We are thankful to have them!  Anna Grant even said this morning "I don't want to go to school!  I just want to go to GJo's house!"  She would live over there if I would let her!

We ate at Crofton on Wells on Thursday night and had a delicious meal!
Jersey Boys was fantastic!
On the lookout deck of the Willis Tower (It should still be called the Sears Tower)!  We waited in line for two hours but the view was amazing!

On Friday night we ate at Morton's Steakhouse!  The original is in Chicago!  Look at those plates on the table!  We definitely enjoyed our food!
On Saturday we went to Navy Pier!
Riding on the Ferris Wheel at Navy Pier!  It doesn't move very fast but it did make me a little queasy!  It was much higher than I thought it would be!
Navy Pier
Not really sure about this!  Someone created it to reflect the skyline of the city on one side!  So here it is!
At Mia Francesca's on Saturday Night!  The best Italian food I have ever had!

  2. Hi Catherine. I came across your blog and I was thrilled. Your family is beautiful. We went to Church Street together and my dad was the pastor at Harrisburg. I wanted to invite you to my blog but don't have an email address. Send me your email(you can see mine on my blog profile)and I'll invite you. Absolutely thrilled to come across your blog.
