For three days in a row the tornado sirens went off repeatedly. We sat in the bathroom two different times and then spent an afternoon in a friends basement. There were tornadoes popping up everywhere, and it was definitely a scary time! I don't think I've ever seen such bad weather! Towns were completely destroyed and many people suffered loss, devastation and destruction. We were so thankful that a tornado did not touch down around our house.
Thankfully, the girls were not bothered by the weather! I was worried that they would be afraid but instead they played "party" in the bathroom and were very entertained!
Caroline and I spent a morning in the bathroom while Daddy was at work and Anna Grant was at school.
This was at 1 a.m. one night! I just knew that they would sleep right through it but boy was I wrong! They were wide awake for two hours!
