Double Decker Weekend

Double Decker was a fun, jam-packed weekend in Oxford! On Friday, we met Melissa, Tom and their 3 kids for lunch at Proud Larry's, had treats from Holli's Sweet Tooth, played at Avent Park until the kids were worn out and ate dinner at Newk's that night! Double Decker was cancelled on Saturday and rescheduled for Sunday because it was supposed to storm! It rained a little but thankfully did not storm! Saturday afternoon, the daddies went to a "forever long" double header baseball game that went into extra innings, and Melissa and I were crazy enough to take all 5 kids to the square for a little Old Venice Pizza and to listen to the bands! It was WILD but we did it, and I was thankful that all 5 kids were not mine! On Sunday, I took Curry, Anna Grant and Caroline to the DD 10K run to cheer for Brannon! He did great and finished in 55 minutes! Curry ended up running the Kid's 1 Mile Fun Run while we were there! He was pumped!! Anna Grant, on the other hand, had no interest in running! The rest of the day was spent at the festival! The weather was perfect, and it wasn't too crowded! We didn't really look at any art but just stayed in the kid's area! I guess that's what happens when you have children!
Anna Grant loved all the inflatables!
