Christmas with Honey

December was a very hard month for us for many reasons, but we also had wonderful moments in the midst of it all!  Brannon's dad was diagnosed with nonsmokers lung cancer this past June, and on December 12th, he was called Home by our Lord and Savior.  He was such an incredible husband, father, son, father-in-law, grandfather, doctor and friend!  Words truly cannot describe how precious this man was!  He was a man of God and was loved by so many in this community!  We had visitation for him that lasted a total of 9 hours, for two days, and a memorial service that was such a tribute to him!  He brought hundreds of babies (actually around 9,000) into this world, and his patients loved him greatly!  We constantly talk about the memories we had with Dockie, and we definitely miss him, but we await the day that we will see him in Heaven!  What a wonderful celebration that will be!
We spent Christmas day with Brannon's family and had a wonderful brunch that was brought to us by Dr. Jack's partners' families!  The kids were full of excitement and could not wait to open gifts!
